A few years ago, G+H Noise Control created two measurement rooms for an automotive supplier. These now had to be equipped with a sprinkler system due to new fire protection requirements. In this connection, the customer decided to relocate the ventilation system to the corners of the room, following the model of a newer, opposite room, in order to minimise interference noise during the measurements.
G+H Noise Control was awarded the contract to manufacture:
- Sprinkler feedthroughs
- Ventilation ducts in the room corners
- a call bell system
- additional cable entries
The order included the dismantling, manufacture and assembly of the necessary additions. In order to disturb the operation as little as possible, the assembly measures of all trades had to be carried out in only two weeks. For this purpose, close coordination with the trades (sprinkler, electrical, ventilation) took place both before and during installation. The rooms were able to be put back into operation on schedule.
