PUR insulation - Intercompany project in Trier

G+H Bochum carries out foam work for G+H Trier.

From the end of June to the beginning of July, refrigeration lines at a tobacco company were insulated by G+H Insulation using in-situ PUR foam. The Bochum branch fitter, who was specially trained in working with in-situ foam, travelled to Trier with the foam machine and the specially equipped transporter.

The material was provided by the Trier branch. A total of around 2,000 kilograms of PUR in-situ foam was processed, thus foaming around 500 metres of piping. A special challenge was the work on the high risers, which had to be carried out from a platform. In addition, pipes of various diameters (DN100 to DN300) ran through several floors, not only indoors but also outdoors

Thanks to the professional intercompany cooperation between Bochum and Trier, the tight project was completed on time to the full satisfaction of the customer. This success is also based on the time-consuming and professional work of our industrial insulators.
