G+H Noise Control was awarded the contract for the vibration insulation of a building complex in Mannheim.
For a building complex in Mannheim, which was built above an underground car park, vibration insulation was to be used to prevent structure-borne noise from being transmitted to the office, residential and hotel units inside.
The contract, which G+H Noise Control carried out, included the vibration design and supply of polyetherurethane insulating mats for vibration insulation of the building. The new product Vibradyn was used for the first time.
A particular challenge was the fact that vibration insulation was not planned at the start of construction and had to be retrofitted despite a nearby railway station. The project was successfully implemented between August and November 2018.
