The Charter of Diversity is an employer initiative founded in 2006 by four companies and supported by the Federal Government for Migration, Refugees and Integration. It is committed to the recognition, appreciation and inclusion of diversity in the world of work in Germany. Institutions and companies should create an unprejudiced working environment. No one should be reduced to gender, gender identity, nationality, ethical origin, religion, ideology, age, sexual orientation, identity or disability. Every human being deserves to be valued regardless of these characteristics.
Companies that endorse this view can sign a certificate and commit themselves to promoting diversity and appreciation in the world of work. The initiative is growing steadily, there are already over 3000 signatories.
One of these signatories is VINCI Deutschland GmbH.
In July 2019, VINCI Deutschland GmbH signed the Diversity Charter, committing itself to promoting diversity within the Group.
The VINCI Group's Ethical Charter already commits VINCI and all its employees not to exclude anyone and to value any differences between them. This is also reflected in the VINCI Manifesto.
By signing the Charter of Diversity, VINCI also wants to show the public that it values diversity.
As part of the Group, the G+H Group takes it for granted to live diversity in its companies.
