17 August 2022Refurbishment and dismantling of fire dampers
The Dinslaken branch of the G+H Group was awarded a contract by the Bau- und Liegenschaftsbetrieb NRW to refurbish and dismantle the fire dampers containing asbestos in one of the central buildings of the University of Duisburg-Essen on the Essen campus.
All work will be carried out in accordance with the regulations of TRGS 519. The scope of work also includes the delivery and installation of new fire dampers which will be connected to the existing ventilation system and upgraded in terms of fire protection.
The work is being carried out during ongoing university operations, in some cases under very cramped installation conditions.
