Information on the use of cookies

What are cookies and what are they used for?

Cookies are small text files which – subject to your consent – are stored on your end device (computer, smartphone or tablet) while you visit a website or view advertising content. They are used to store information about your surfing behaviour and to offer you suitable services on your end device (computer, smartphone or tablet).

The cookies are managed by your browser. Information contained therein can only be read or changed by the sender of the respective cookie.

As long as they are valid or stored, cookies enable the identification of the end device on which they are stored. They cannot be used to identify you personally.

The technical cookies also create the prerequisite for certain security measures. It is not possible to deactivate or parameterise these cookies. In this case, you would no longer have access to the website and/or the services available on the website.

Your choices for handling cookies

You can set the cookies used on G+H Group websites in two ways: either by using the cookie management tool provided by us on the website, or by making the appropriate settings in your browser. The setting options offered in the “More about this and cookie settings” part of the cookie banner (buttons for activation or deactivation) give you the option of deactivating all or part of the cookies at any time, with the exception of the technical cookies required for the functioning of the website, as described above. Likewise, the storage of cookies on your terminal device can either be permitted or rejected by setting your browser accordingly.

  1. Rejecting cookies via your browser software:

You can deactivate all or part of the cookies at any time. We draw your attention to the fact that the consideration of your various requests is based on specific cookies (one or more). If you delete all cookies relating to our website that are stored in your terminal device, it will no longer be apparent to us which consent you have given or refused. Similarly, if you use a different browser, you will have to reject the cookies in question again, as your choices – such as the cookies to which they relate – are tied to the browser and terminal (computer, smartphone or tablet) you use to visit our website.
