Material validation and other test benches

In addition to the room test benches, the ACC has a silencer channel for measuring silencer baffles of up to 10 metres in length in accordance with DIN EN ISO 11691 / DIN EN ISO 7235.

Three differently dimensioned impedance tubes for the frequency ranges of 16 – 3200 Hz allow the determination of absorption coefficients in accordance with DIN EN ISO 10534-2.

We have both a static and an alternating pressure test rig for measuring flow resistance in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9053. Here, correlations can be established between the technical flow resistance and the acoustic properties of a wide range of materials.

A vibration test rig with a periodically driven mass allows the characterisation of all types of insulators.
