The neighbouring anechoic chamber in accordance with ISO 26101 is lined with the latest generation of acoustic absorbers for sound power measurements in accordance with DIN EN ISO 3745, Class I. It is used to analyse the acoustic emission properties of components. Qualification measurements can also be carried out here on built-in parts such as loudspeakers or microphones. Thanks to the possibility of combining the highly absorbent room and the primary reverberation room, all kinds of synergies between diffuse and free field are possible.
