12 May 2026Highly efficient vibration isolation for test bench foundations successfully implemented

The Vibration Isolation division of G+H Noise Control has successfully completed a major follow-up contract for the development, production and delivery of a bespoke insulation system. The high-performance MAFUND® damping system was used for vibration and structure-borne noise isolation on two test bench foundations with clamping plates.
The total mass to be damped was 1,204 tonnes. The aim was to significantly reduce both the vibrations and structure-borne noise emitted into the surrounding environment and those transmitted from outside. The damping systems were designed to ensure that four different test bench configurations per foundation could be optimally isolated.
The test bench foundations are used for the acoustic and vibration-related development of new technologies. The project was completed to the client’s complete satisfaction and underscores the technical expertise and reliability of the Vibration Isolation division.
