First undersea power interconnection between Spain and France: G+H is supplying soundproof enclosures for the converter stations in Bordeaux and Bilbao

A new power line connecting Spain and France across the Bay of Biscay is expected to increase transmission capacity from 2,800 to 5,000 megawatts. Millions of people will benefit from the approximately 400-kilo-meter-long line. G+H Noise Control was involved in Europe’s most significant energy infrastructure project and provided reliable noise protection at the converter stations in Bordeaux and Bilbao.
