Sustainable energy generation through optimised insulation system
A supplier of technologies and solutions for the energy sector commissioned the G+H Group with the planning, delivery and installation of an internal insulation system for a waste heat boiler in a combined cycle power plant with a surface area of 700 m².
A particular challenge was the routing of the boiler components for the subsequent pinning as well as the engineering of the customised liner plates for the complex flue gas ducts.
Thanks to this special insulation system, the CO2 emissions in the combined cycle power plant could be significantly reduced.
